Job Description
We are seeking an RN - MedSurg/Telemetry for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Rochester New York 14621.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12hr Days; 7AM - 7PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1872 $2016
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical and medical telemetry patients.
- Monitor assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Care for patients with surgical abdominal incisions new ostomies surgical drains.
- Work with General/Colorectal/Plastics/GYN/OMFS/Podiatry post-op patients.
- Perform blood draws as needed.
- Utilize portable telemetry for patient monitoring.
- Chart using EPIC (preferred).
- Float to other units as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated patient care.
- License/Certification:
- Active RN license
- AHA BLS certification (Required)
- Experience:
- 1 2 years of nursing experience (Required)
- Surgical unit experience (Required)
- Alaris pump experience required
- EPIC EMR experience (Highly Preferred)
