About:
Seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to support cost control inventory management and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:

Prepare/review journal entries inventory reconciliations and variance analysis
-
Ensure inventory and manufacturing controls; support audits
-
Lead cost roll execution and analyze product costs labor and overhead rates
-
Review BOMs routing throughput and raw material pricing
-
Support healthy inventory levels and drive improvements in inventory turns
-
Lead and analyze physical inventory counts
-
Explain P&L variances develop labor/productivity metrics and track variable costs
-
Support freight forecasting capex tracking and KPI/dashboard development
Qualifications:
-
5 years in cost accounting (manufacturing industry)
-
Strong knowledge of GAAP cost accounting and ERP systems
-
Advanced Excel and BI tools experience
-
Skilled in analyzing large data sets and cost structures
