Job Description

Seeking a professional who under moderate supervision provides accurate and timely financial information on product costs ensuring proper cost assignment and supporting management control and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Update and analyze standard costs; set annual department rates.
- Audit variances WIP zero-cost items GL codes and scrap; resolve discrepancies.
- Assign costs to parts prepare cost estimates for new products.
- Monitor machine standards and adjust as needed.
- Manage work orders for rework/training.
- Handle cost system inquiries and prepare management reports.
- Support physical inventory and resolve discrepancies.
- Knowledge of accounting and cost evaluation methods.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and flexibility in work hours.
- Experience with inventory counts variance investigation and cost reconciliation.
- Familiarity with GMS and safety compliance.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting or cost accounting experience.
