Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of a global leader in smart energy solutions with a strong international presence across Asia the Middle East and Europe. As part of their strategic expansion they are now setting up operations in Indonesia one of Southeast Asia s most dynamic clean energy markets.
We are exclusively seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Country Manager (f/m/d) to drive the company s entry and long-term success in Indonesia with a focus on energy storage solutions and B2B market growth.
- Lead market entry and localization strategy for Indonesia
- Act as the company s key representative with government regulatory and industry stakeholders
- Drive B2B sales efforts in energy storage and smart energy solutions
- Build strategic partnerships across utilities industrial clients and infrastructure developers
- Lead local operations ensure regulatory compliance and grow the Indonesian team
- Provide market intelligence to HQ and shape local go-to-market initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy sector including 5 years in energy storage (ESS BESS battery systems)
- Proven B2B sales leadership experience in technical or industrial markets
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian energy market (PLN IPPs EPCs etc.)
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and lead in a fast-scaling environment
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business or related field (MBA is a plus)
- Experience in project development or EPC contracting is a strong advantage
