About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan. We are looking for a Project Trainee to join our team in Tanzania.
Job Title: Project Trainee
Location: Q-Sourcing Tanzania Limited
Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Trainee to support our ongoing projects and operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Economics or Statistics with practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience working in an office setting. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination and data-related functions under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning implementing and tracking assigned projects.
- Support data entry data analysis and report preparation using Excel.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support timely project deliverables.
- Conduct basic research and compile findings to inform project decisions.
- Draft presentations reports and documentation as needed.
- Learn and utilize relevant tools templates and systems.
- Suggest improvements to enhance project processes and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with internal procedures and timelines
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Arts in Economics / Bachelor of Arts in Statistics or related fields
Key Skills & Experience:
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas data entry formatting sorting & filtering).
- At least 1 year of experience working in an office environment with regular use of Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
Added Advantage:
- Knowledge of project coordination or administration.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to data analysis or reporting in previous roles.
NOTE: This is a training-level position ideal for someone seeking practical exposure in project work and data support functions.
