Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive with deep expertise in Transaction Banking to drive strategic growth initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the banking industry and a robust network of C-level executives across the region. The position requires a


results-driven professional with a proven track record in revenue generation client relationship management and innovative solution development.


Key Responsibilities:


    • Strategic Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporates financial institutions and government-linked entities in the region. Leverage existing networks to create pipelines of high- value opportunities in transaction banking products and services.
    • Client Relationship Management: Build strengthen and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including CEOs CFOs Business Heads and CIOs. Provide tailored solutions to meet client needs and deepen client engagement.
    • Market Intelligence: Maintain a strong understanding of market trends competitor offerings regulatory developments and customer demands to develop innovative competitive transaction banking solutions.
    • Product and Solution Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on transaction banking covering cash management trade finance supply chain finance Corporate Lending and digital payment solutions. Collaborate with product teams to align offerings with market needs.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Relationship Managers Product Management Risk Compliance and Technology to deliver seamless client solutions and support execution of strategic initiatives.
    • Revenue Generation: Drive Thought Leadership Creation and Lead Generation Responsibilities.
    • Thought Leadership and Representation: Represent the organization at industry events panels and forums. Position the company as a thought leader in transaction banking through participation in high-level engagements.


Requirements:


    • 15 20 years of relevant experience primarily in business development roles within transaction banking.
    • Strong banking experience is highly preferred with a clear understanding of institutional banking structures and regulatory environments.
    • Established relationships with C-level executives in Singapore and the wider APAC region.
    • Proven ability to conceptualize and deliver bespoke transaction banking solutions to large corporate and institutional clients.
    • Deep knowledge of cash management trade finance and digital banking ecosystems.
    • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
    • Bachelor s degree in Business Finance or related discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualifications are
advantageous.
