Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a proactive Social Media Assistant to transform our podcast content into engaging social media campaigns that drive audience growth and client acquisition. Youll have significant autonomy to take initiative while collaborating on high-impact marketing strategies that include social media management newsletter development and client communication support. Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule compelling social media posts across multiple platforms based on podcast content and strategic discussions
- Create original post concepts and content ideas that align with brand messaging and audience engagement goals
- Prepare publication-ready social media content that requires minimal approval time before going live
- Design and edit eye-catching graphics and video content to enhance social media posts and drive engagement
- Take ownership of content planning and execution while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity
- Support the development and execution of newsletter campaigns and client correspondence initiatives
- Collaborate directly with business owners to understand content themes messaging priorities and strategic objectives
- Provide additional marketing and administrative support as business needs evolve and expand
Requirements
- Proven hands-on social media marketing experience preferably supporting US-based businesses or clients
- Strong graphic design capabilities with proven ability to create professional engaging visual content
- Basic video editing skills for social media content optimization and repurposing
- Comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous social media campaigns design work and measurable results
- Self-starter mentality with demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects from concept to completion
- Experience working with podcast content long-form content repurposing or similar content transformation projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools design software and content management platforms
- Proactive problem-solving approach with flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and priorities
