Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test strategy test plans and test end-to-end testing activities including functional and non-functional testing
- Collaborate with application owners test managers and UAT teams to ensure alignment
- Oversee the full test cycle: planning preparation execution and reporting
- Serve as the central point of contact for test environment management
- Coordinate with environment teams to ensure test environments are current and stable
- Demonstrate test coverage and secure client sign-off
- Manage continuous automation for SIT and regression testing
- Publish daily and weekly status reports track risks and issues to closure
- Review business requirements and identify defects early in the lifecycle
- Guide test team members on insurance-related projects and ensure test data provisioning
- Talk to native Japanese stake holders and plan all test activities
Requirements
- 10 12 years of experience in test management preferably in insurance domains
- Proven track record of delivering high-value projects involving multi-core applications
- Deep understanding of life insurance processes: policy quote origination claims underwriting and administration
- Minimum JLPT N3 certification
- Certifications such as LOMA 290/301 and Japanese insurance credentials are a plus
- Proficiency in tools like Azure ALM Jira Confluence
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage project milestones planning and financials
- Familiarity with the latest testing tools and best practices
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory
