Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Collaborate across technical disciplines in a team environment

• Lead a team responsible for computing data storage infrastructure and tools

• Provide technical expertise leadership and mentorship to the infrastructure team

• Partner with the Infrastructure Manager to modernize and transform existing test IT systems

• Oversee planning design integration security monitoring and optimization of infrastructure

• Assist in implementing best practices for managing server rooms and lab spaces

• Harden and deploy secure NIST-compliant test infrastructure

• Design hybrid solutions using on-prem systems and cloud services

• Develop documentation and processes to improve repeatability and reduce waste

• Operate in a hands-on lab environment with a range of test equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering computer science physics chemistry mathematics or data science

• 9 years of experience (or 7 years with a Masters or 4 years with a PhD)

• 5 years of experience leading technical teams

• Strong knowledge of cloud services virtualization networking storage and NIST-compliant infrastructure

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Security certification (CompTIA)

• Network (CompTIA) CCNA or CCNP certifications

• Experience with large-scale server/IT system management

• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Ansible)

• Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows environments

• Python programming experience

• Experience with VMWare vSphere

• Background in managing projects across various lifecycle phases
