Overview:
This role supports the growth of B2B business by developing customized ingredient solutions providing technical guidance to customers and supporting the internal sales team with product knowledge and application expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Innovation
Create new food application concepts using in-house and competitive ingredients.
Develop practical customer-focused solutions through testing and formulation.
Identify customer challenges and propose appropriate technical recommendations.
Customer & Partner Support
Build strong relationships with distributors partners and clients.
Gather and analyze technical requirements from stakeholders.
Deliver product and application training to internal and external teams.
Technical Expertise & Application Support
Develop deep understanding of ingredient properties and functionality.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving for customer applications.
Provide detailed product information and support to the commercial team.
Conduct trials to optimize formulations and validate product performance.
Project & Internal Support
Manage multiple assignments independently and update managers on progress.
Contribute to internal quality safety and compliance initiatives (e.g. HACCP Halal).
Support lab equipment planning procurement and upkeep.
Bachelor s Degree in Food Science Food Technology Applied Science Chemistry or a related technical field.
1 3 years experience in technical sales food applications or ingredient solution development ideally in a B2B environment.
Experience with product development application testing or customer trials in the food industry is preferred.
Solid understanding of food ingredients processing methods and formulation techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with technical and commercial stakeholders.
