Job Description

Working with an impressive and iconic group of customers the Account Managers primary objective is to develop and realise sustainable sales opportunities continuously finding new ways to diversify the customer base and nurture key accounts in a strategic and collaborative way that embeds and harnesses value and loyalty to both the customer and the business. 

Your tenacious and hands on approach will help in identifying and winning up-sell and cross selling opportunities as well as building the strategic sales pipeline. You will also take the lead on pricing maximising opportunities for new product development and ways of using the current expertise to differentiate us from the competition.

Resilient with a strong desire to achieve you will use your natural flair to develop robust multi-tiered relationships that will ensure delivery of an exceptional and quality customer experience for our Industrial packaging range.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Proactively identify and lead the conversion of strategic business development and commercial opportunities
  • Deliver on key business and sales targets ensuring business and customer activity is captured in a timely manner
  • Deliver business reporting in accordance with company requirements
  • Proactively work with Operations Customer service and broader sales teams to ensure on-time customer service needs are met or exceeded

With a demonstratable track record in sales account management you will display sound understanding of bottom-line profitability and proven ability to devise and implement strategies that maximize sales opportunities in competitive market

You will also have:

  • Personal presence and credibility that builds stakeholder engagement.
  • Relationship and account Management experience gained in the packaging industry
  • Current and valid Drivers License
  • Computer Proficiency MS Office suite and SAP (desirable)
  • Ability to deliver customer-focused solutions through value-add sales process
  • Strong ability to influence initiate and to lead projects
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes is highly beneficial
  • Proactive genuine and pragmatic approach to customer concerns and relationships 

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Sales Marketing or Commerce or 10 years in Account/Sales Management.
