Job Description
The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with company leaders and the marketing teams to develop implement and track marketing programs initiatives and develop compelling campaigns to brand the PS Logistics family of brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supports day to day marketing operations content execution research and scheduling.
- Assists with social media content creation posting and engagement.
- Helps maintain the asset library of brand compliant visual content.
- Assists the Digital Media Manager with media campaigns and brand requests.
- Creates media drafts for socials to be approved by the Digital Media Manager.
- Responds to and tracks reviews and engagement for social media marketing.
- Works with the Digital Media Manager to create visual graphics/templates for posting
- to social media.
- Responds to social media comments and messages to increase leads in recruiting.
- Supports the Digital Media Pro on photo/film shoots.
- Assists with photo/video editing and graphic design under the guidance of the Digital
- Media Pro and Social Media Manager.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Graphic Design Social Media Management
- Communication Advertising or similar degree.
- Must be willing to learn new skills and adapt to an everchanging logistics environment.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and competitor analysis.
- Experience with copy editing.
- Must have excellent time management skills and great attention to detail.
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must display cooperative skills and have the ability to work well with a team.
- Must be able to communicate well.
- Must be task driven and eager to complete assigned tasks.
- Needs a creative mind and ability translate a project vision into visual content.
Preferred technical skills:
- Adobe Creative Suite including and not limited to (Adobe Illustrator Photoshop InDesign Premiere Pro Lightroom).
- Sprout Social
- Google Analytics
- Meta Business Suite
- Canva
- Capcut
- DSLR Camera experience
Additional Information :
A Successful Marketing Specialist must consistently demonstrate the companys Mission and Values. They must have good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers drivers and other team members in person and on the telephone. They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills. A successful Marketing Specialist must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally they must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed to including weekends evenings and holidays.
