As part of our Technology Leadership Program in the Risk and Security Analyst track youll play a crucial role in keeping Vanguard safe day in and day out protecting twenty million investors from ever-evolving threats by staying one step ahead. Do you have the self-starting drive mental agility and group-approach to lead teams in the forefront of cybersecurity This is your opportunity to help craft a forward-thinking and stabilized technology ecosystem. One thats able to grow as the business grows expand to meet evolving customer needs and tackle complex and ever-changing security threats. This program will help you build on your technical expertise commercial understanding of risk and people skills to prepare for a leadership role thats as challenging as it is fascinating.

The Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development program available to graduating college seniors who are ready to enter the business world and eager to develop their technical expertise in Cyber Security while building their leadership skills. The program consists of three eight-month rotations where you could get the chance to defend Vanguards perimeter in our Cyber Security Operations Center get ahead of threats with our threat intelligence teams perform security assessments with our penetration testing group protect client and crew identity with our Identity and Access Management department and many additional exciting opportunities.

In this program you will:

  • Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors
  • Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success
  • Gain hands-on experience in security strategy risk mitigation and digital ethics while practicing Agile & LEAN methodologies
  • Share your insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative supportive environments
  • Build a network with program managers alumni senior leaders and peers
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance technical and non-technical (program committees internship support development of peers) work
  • Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship

What it takes:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree with a concentration in computer science computer engineering IST IT CIS Security Risk Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
  • Strong interest in security/threat analysis fraud mitigation and reporting
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
  • Effective analytical communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment
