Responsibilities
The school seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses in environmental studies including introductory-level courses satisfying requirements for UNEs general education curriculum. The candidate may also teach courses in marine biology or in their area of expertise as needed and appropriate. The typical teaching load is the equivalent of 12 credits per semester. Additionally the successful candidate will be invited to engage in curriculum development and participate in academic advising recruiting course and program assessment and service to the school college and university.
Qualifications
A masters degree in environmental studies environmental sciences marine biology or a related field is required at the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and those with college teaching experience.
