Director, Sport Mens Apparel Product Management, Global Jordan

WHO YOULL WORK WITH

You will lead a team of seasoned Product Managers and be responsible for driving the product creation process and triad teams growing revenue and setting the long-term strategy for Mens Sport apparel. You and the team will support the product creation process through key interaction with Technical Graphic and Color Design Merchandising Sourcing/Costing Demand Planning Operations Sales and Footwear. You will lead x-categorical projects plans and initiatives and foster key relationships between global and geo teams to ensure alignment and integration at key dates and for key deliverables.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Product Director for Global Mens Sport Apparel you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy and leading the team to deliver all Product Line Management deliverables. You will work closely with a variety of important partners and critical cross-functional teams to align on end-to-end strategies processes and tools that best serve the consumer. Youll spend time guiding the team as they create product for the worlds best athletes to continue pushing Jordan apparel into the future. You will ensure our team of Product Managers is driving all areas of the creation process to meet key deliverables each season across a multitude of calendars and timelines.

Were seeking someone with superior business and trend acumen with a passion for sport and serving athletes. It is critical to be an expert at collaboration and enjoy working among various teams. This person needs to have an astute passion for apparel effective verbal/written communication skills great presentation skills the ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced environment and excellent attention to detail. They will be managing a team of seasoned product managers and will need to be able to support guide and develop the team.

As Director for Mens Sport apparel you will be responsible for creating product for a variety of activities under the Jordan Sport umbrella (basketball training global football etc.). The product management team will work daily with our design development brand and merchandising teams to create compelling apparel collections seasonally. You will also work closely with Sports Marketing Mens Streetwear apparel and Footwear teams to develop line plans and implement future product apparel strategies. You will be seen as the leader for the business expected to keep the team on task and communicate regularly to both internal and external partners. You will work closely with x-functional leaders to deliver on product creation calendar timelines including product briefs design reviews external partner reviews and approvals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree or higher in product management and/or merchandising. Will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training.
• 10 years of experience in product management and/or merchandising role
• Strong apparel product creation knowledge
• Track record for leading driving and executing successful business strategies
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities
• Able to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships
• Attention to detail and deadlines
• Necessary Skills/Tools: Visual Tool Creation (Powerpoint/Keynote/Miro) Excel Skills Retail Math Smartsheets
• Domestic and international travel (limited Intl) required (10% of time on the road)
