We are looking for experienced Enterprise Architectsto partner with several Global Business Areas (GBAs) and enabling functions. You will work on a strategic and tactical level to shape resilient secure datacentric product ecosystems that power techenabled consulting across Ramboll. If you combine deep architectural expertise with a gift for storytelling and stakeholder engagement we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Cocreate technology strategy & roadmapswith GBA leadership that unlock growth operational excellence and sustainability.
Design and maintain a coherent product & data ecosystemspanning multivendor cloud platforms SaaS and inhouse solutions.
Spot and prove the value of emerging tech(e.g. GenAI data mesh application fabrics) through pragmatic Proof-of-Concepts.
Lead architecture governancefor domain product suites and production platforms ensuring security-by-design compliance and alignment with our IDT Blueprintwithout becoming a single point of failure.
Modernise legacy estates: assess code bases & applications guide rebuilds/migrations to improve resilience and maintainability.
Facilitate cross-GBA alignmentto reduce interface friction on joint projects and promote reuse of patterns data products and APIs.
Coach and mentorarchitects product teams and business stakeholders translating complex concepts into clear business narratives.
Collaborate with Technology Operations Cyber Security and Data & AIto mitigate technology risks and debt.
You will help shape this role and we value your ideas on how to make it a success.
HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED IN YOUR ROLE
7 yearsin enterprise or solution architecture within large global organisationsideally professional services or engineering/consultancy.
Proven record buildingtechnology roadmapsand governingmulticloud product ecosystems.
Deep knowledge acrossbusiness application and data architecture; fluent in EA frameworks (TOGAF SAFe etc.).
Solid grasp ofsecurebydesign principlesand relevant legislation (e.g. NIS2 GDPR) andcloud governance frameworks.
Handson experience withdata platforms lakehouses and/or data meshconcepts; passion for turning data into value.
Storyteller and influencerable to craft compelling narratives for executives and engineers alike.
Pragmatic and outcomefocused; comfortable balancing ideal architecture with realworld constraints.
Empathetic collaborator & mentor; committed to diversity and psychological safety.
Fluent inEnglish; additional language skills are a plus.
