Job Description
As a Senior (also open to Principal level) Earthing and Bonding Engineer you will lead the delivery of complex E&B solutions across major infrastructure projectsincluding rail substations and utilitiesby applying your technical expertise to design review and verify systems for 1500V DC and 25kV AC traction power re-signalling SAT/TAP and electrical upgrades while ensuring compliance with safety EMC and network standards and overseeing modelling documentation and integration to deliver technically sound constructible and standards-aligned outcomes.
How youll make a difference
- Lead and manage the earthing design components of major infrastructure projects ensuring delivery on time within scope and budget while mentoring junior engineers.
- Develop review and approve earthing designs ensuring technical excellence compliance with standards and innovative problem-solving.
- Engage and collaborate with clients contractors and multidisciplinary teams to drive project outcomes and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the ANZ region.
- Ensure quality and safety compliance by conducting regular design reviews and implementing robust quality assurance processes across all deliverables.
- Collaborate globally to share technical knowledge apply best practices and drive innovation and sustainability across diverse high-impact infrastructure project
- Working with team lead to build the team and their expertise.
Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in electrical engineering with a focus on rail transmission and water projects
- Extensive knowledge of Earthing and bonding for High voltage Low voltage systems 1500V DC and 25kVAC traction systems transmission lines buildings pipelines
- Strong understanding of and experience with TfNSW Australian Standards. Knowledge of Ausgrid Transgrid is favoured.
