Job Description

Join a diverse and global marketing team working on industry leading internationally renowned events and products across an eclectic sector mix including Design Cruise Maritime and Logistics.

This fabulous team deliver 19 annual events across 15 different countries. From London to Amsterdam Dubai to Saudi Manilla to Hong Kong Dusseldorf to Miami plus many more.

Two leading news sites sit within the portfolio delivering hundreds of thousands of monthly impressions and significant revenue to the business. The Digital Marketing Executive will report into the Brand Marketing team and will be accountable for delivering and measuring campaigns focusing predominantly on email marketing PPC website performance and SEO. They will be curious and data-driven ensuring campaigns are continuously optimized and in-line with the wider Marketing objectives and event goals.

The successful candidate will be upskilled with the support of the Group Digital Marketing Manager and alongside a team of digital peers they will be focused to being the best in digital marketing.

Web

  • The Digital Marketing Executive will work closely with the Web Platform team to support on-page SEO efforts ensuring the SEO strategy is in-line with key Marketing objectives.
  • They will also support the Brand Marketing team with any front-end changes to event websites where required.
  • Additionally the Digital Marketing Executive will work with the web team to build web experiences for key audience segments a/b tests PPC campaigns and more.

PPC

  • Working closely with the Group Digital Marketing Manager the Digital Marketing Executive will be the key contact point between the Brand Marketing team and our appointed PPC agency. This will involve being accountable for providing solid campaign briefs interrogating campaign reports taking part in regular performance meetings and ensuring all required assets are delivered to the PPC agency (such as creative elements utms and landing pages).
  • The Digital Marketing Executive will also work closely with our internal design team ensuring creative assets are inspiring innovative and delivered in-line with best practise.

Email

  • Working closely with the Brand Marketing team the Digital Marketing Executive will help to optimise email marketing activities. They will achieve this by focusing on automation opportunities and identifying key audience segmentation opportunities.
  • The Digital Marketing Executive will also play a key role in building plans to improve data health and engagement.

Social and Community

  • The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for delivering the social media and community Marketing plan. This includes planning and creating content reporting on content performance across social channels and ensuring our social referral campaign which is managed on InGo is optimised and in-line with best practise.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Working closely with the Group Digital Marketing Manager and the Brand Marketing team the Digital Marketing Executive will be accountable for delivering campaign reports in-line with the Marketing Objectives and across key data points. They will be able to interpret the data and offer optimisations to ensure campaigns remain strong and robust.
  • Based on the Marketing objectives the Digital Marketing Executive will also design and deliver testing plans. They will understand how to set a hypothesis and how to measure the success of experiments.
  • The Digital Marketing Executive will also ensure channels are healthy as part of their ongoing campaign reporting.

Ideas and Innovations

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the target audience understand digital behaviours of the product audience through continual testing and reporting
  • Utilise Informas online learning library as well as supporting Marketing Performance Managers and other internal and external training to ensure best practices and channel/platform updates
  • Keep up to date with the latest market marketing and channel developments sharing findings with digital and wider marketing teams

Qualifications :

Experience of the following tools highly desirable but not essential 

  • Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics/Google Search Console
  • AHREFS
  • Eloqua
  • Asana/
  • SprinklrAdobe Experience Manager
  • Canva or equivalent (ie. Adobe Express)
  • InGo
