POSITION SUMMARY
This position leads the Sales function at American Federal. This includes building American Federals Brand through the Preferred Way of Selling. Responsible for delivering all American Federal products and services of Banking Mortgage Insurance and Investment through the entire Sales Office network. Also responsible for delivering a comprehensive learning and development program to Sales staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Responsible for Performance Management Systems includingincentive compensation programs banker level performance measurements and recognition programs.
- Responsible for management long-term strategic development and optimization of Ag Commercial and Retail banking functions and ancillary products.
- This position supervises Regional Vice Presidents and select Market Presidents Marketing Manager and AFI Managing director.
- Responsible for business development loan portfolio growth and quality of loans in the banks portfolio relationship building setting the direction of the loan production deposit growth and fee generation.
- Develop and enhance the Sales Planning Process to include a process for holding Bankers and their Managers accountable for achieving agreed upon results.
- Responsible for development and implementation of an effective sales culture throughout the entire organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance Economics or a related field.
- Five or more years of sales management experience in Financial Service with a proven performance record.
- Knowledge of the full array of financial services operational systems/processes industry trends etc. necessary to deliver American Federal Sales Process.
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated to achieve results.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude leadership skills and commitment to American Federal values.
