Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Galena Park TX (77029)
Pay Rate: $18 - $22 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
MEMCO Pasadena is urgently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Lube & Fuel). This is an entry-level position where you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of various vehicles and machinery. The ideal candidate will be dependable eager to learn and ready to contribute to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including lube and fuel services for machinery and vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are adhered to while performing maintenance duties.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.
- Work alongside senior mechanics to develop skills and grow in the position.
Requirements:
- Clean Background Record
- TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- Valid Drivers License
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Skills/Abilities:
- Basic mechanical knowledge (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to be trained and grow in the field
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to work in a team environment
