Full time Multi Site Medical Director (DVM) - Now Hiring Superior Salary Flexible Compensation

A leading partner hospital group is seeking a highly skilled Multi Site Medical Director Veterinarian to support three hospitals in the Naples/Fort Myers FL region. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian ready to make a broad impactsupporting clinical teams enhancing patient care and driving operational success.

About the Role

Whether you are:

  • A seasoned DVM ready for a leadership-driven challenge or

  • An Associate Veterinarian with ambitions to expand into regional influence

this role offers a powerful blend of clinical care and multi-site leadership. Youll play a pivotal role in shaping veterinary practices while remaining hands-on in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Champion Clinical Excellence

  • Deliver high-quality medical care and surgical services with 75100% of time devoted to clinical work.

  • Mentor and coach DVMs especially new graduates in surgery dentistry and case management.

  • Improve clinical processes that elevate client experience and patient outcomes.

Cultivate a Positive Veterinary Community

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment in each hospital.

  • Partner with the Regional Director to implement strategies that promote team engagement and professional development.

  • Assist in recruiting top-tier veterinary talent with the Talent Relations team.

Drive Operational Success

  • Optimize hospital flow scheduling and performance metrics.

  • Support budgeting staffing needs and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure smooth daily operations and long-term success.

Ensure Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct hospital visits and inspections to uphold the highest standards of care.

  • Oversee DEA compliance and regulatory requirements across all assigned hospitals.

What Youll Bring

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.

  • Valid veterinary license (or ability to obtain) in the state of Florida.

  • 35 years of clinical experience; leadership experience a plus.

  • Registered or eligible DEA license (as applicable).

  • Strong communication leadership and mentorship abilities.

  • Willingness to travel regionally to assigned locations (travel and housing covered).

Time Allocation & Schedule

  • Four-day work week

  • Primarily clinical (75100% direct patient care)

  • Remaining time allocated for:

    • Staff mentorship

    • Interviews & recruitment

    • Compliance oversight

    • Performance reviews & budget planning
