Qualifications:Ability to troubleshoot all Microsoft Windows Operating SystemsA Certification preferredFamiliarity with ChromebooksFamiliarity with Google SuiteDemonstrated solid interpersonal and communications skillsApplication and System Training certificatesFamiliarity with network architectureProven ability to practice good judgment under pressured situationsReporting Relationships: Reports directly to the Director of Technology ServicesGeneral Responsibilities: To insure the effective operation of all PC hardware and peripherals and associated desktop applications through installations upgrades problem Responsibilities:Installs and configures Software on Windows MAC and Chrome Operating SystemsRebuilds OS and ApplicationsConfigures email and browser applicationsInstalls Hardware upgrades and configurations; installs batteries hard drives cmos and configures AV devicesMaintains up to date knowledge about systems software supplied by the manufacturer and other support resources for drivers problem resolution through forums newsgroups and websites printer setup and configuration Provides hardware software application technical support to end-users to ensure proper upgrades maintains and repairs computers and peripheral equipmentMakes recommendations for upgrades and new technologiesInstalls and upgrades software applications system-wideTroubleshoots technical problems on all platformsAssists with backup and restore routinesAssists with testing hardware and software technologies to ensure compatibility with existing other related duties as assigned by Technology ManagerEvaluation: Annually by the Director of Technology Services. Evaluation process to include completion of a self assessment by the technician concerning job performance based upon job description. Manage of Technology Services also completes review based upon job description. Following mutual conference the Director completes a written performance review and attaches the self assessment and Directors assessment to the overall performance of Employment: Twelve months per year.
