Job Description

A growing home care organization is seeking a detail-oriented hardworking and people-focused Writing Supervisor to lead a small team responsible for preparing technical documentation to support patient approvals. This role ensures clinical narratives and justifications are accurate compliant and clearly written for insurance providers and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise a team of writers responsible for clinical documentation.

  • Review and edit written materials to ensure clarity accuracy and compliance.

  • Collaborate with clinical and intake teams to ensure correct documentation.

  • Train and mentor staff to improve writing quality and consistency.

  • Monitor timelines and workloads to ensure timely submission of documents.

  • Ensure compliance with insurance and regulatory standards.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to technical accuracy.

  • Experience in healthcare documentation or service authorizations is a plus.

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Detail-oriented process-driven and proactive.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing people and improving the quality of important clinical communication.

Salary: $65k - $75k/Year
