In this role you will be working as a Manufacturing Engineer and Project Manager for a client in the custom metal fabrication industry. This position will be responsible for estimating and project management including reviewing project drawings performing material takeoffs estimating labor and material costs coordinating with customers and managing project timelines and deliverables. Your scope will involve structures around conveyor systems food processing systems and wastewater treatment systems. The materials you will be estimating project costs for include mild steel stainless steel and aluminum. Youll also work closely with the shop team and report directly to the owner.
This position is a contract to possible permanent role that is a long-term need for my client. This is a full-time role must be worked on-site. This role is available on a 4/10 schedule from 7:00AM - 5:30PM.
Job Requirements
- Engineering degree preferred but applicable experience will be considered
- 1 Years of experience in the industry
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Familiarity with interpreting engineering designs
Pay: $35 - $50 / hr depending on qualifications and experience
