Facilities Maintenance Lead
The Facilities Maintenance Lead is responsible for making sure the Shop is compliant regarding safety and compliance. The Maintenance Lead will be the main contact with the companys vendors and will lead the safety committee and assist in investigations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Will handle store and keep updated maintenance records
- Ensures a safe clean and environmentally compliant work environment
- Maintains the facility (housekeeping) expectations
- Conducts investigations and reports concerning safety accidents incidents injuries and (near misses)
- Prepares assessments involving possible facility issues to inform management and correct deficiencies
- Handles all estimates/quotes from vendors on work upgrades or installation of new equipment in the facility
- Maintains labor contractor the repair and replacement of shop inventory and supplies
- Maintains the (E Maintenance) program and makes sure all leads have access to the program
- Ensures all PMs are closed out and complete
- Maintains Fire Extinguisher sign off sheets replacement and inspections
- Leads Safety Committee
- Assists with investigations and follow up to all safety issues
- Assists with all Shop major projects
- Monitors the Storm Water monitoring plan
- Maintains all Forklift preventative maintenance
- Maintains the (Atlas Air Compressor)
- Maintains the oil and coolant used and unused to make sure they are labeled and disposed of properly.
Skills Required:- Extensive Knowledge of building systems such as: Plumbing electrical and HVAC
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
- Ability to plan maintenance schedule for building.
- Strong Leadership Skills
