Job Description

POSITION: Director of Admissions

HOURS/STATUS: Full-Time Exempt

REPORTS TO: State Director

LOCATION: Wauwatosa

Admissions Focus:

  1. To attain the enrollment objectives for the campus of a geographic area.
  2. Ensures adequate staffing at assigned location.
  3. Ensures that admissions and marketing data is captured recorded and accurately input.
  4. Assembles reviews and analyzes all admissions data available implements changes necessary to achieve enrollment objectives.
  5. Assists in the admissions budget planning process.
  6. Ensures compliance with company policy and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
  7. Successfully meets the Admissions Departmental quality assurance and compliance monitoring objectives.
  8. Consistently utilizes CRM to effectively manage all lead enrollment and admissions activity reflected by data accuracy and integrity.
  9. Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of admission training and development on a regular monthly basis.
  10. Assists in the hiring training coaching developing and motivating of all admissions associates receptionists and admission representatives.
  11. Ensures that the onboarding process for all new admissions associates occurs.
  12. Monitors and supervises on a regular basis the activities of the admissions team providing weekly reports noting metrics by associate.
  13. Analyzes individual and team (API) Admissions Performance Indicators and troubleshoots development opportunities based on results resulting in semester lessons learned documents.
  14. Assists the campus director in the preparation of the Annual Plan as it relates to new student enrollment goals.
  15. Develops implements drives and monitors the Annual Enrollment Plan that includes effective strategies and tactics to reach enrollment outcomes. This plan needs to be updated each semester.
  16. Identifies and acts upon mutually beneficial business development opportunities. Represents the College as an official spokesperson within the community and promotes the professional image of the College services associates and students.
  17. Understands CRM and can access reports to support Lead Bank Rollover and student relationship management.
  18. Organizes and/or supports admissions campus functions including orientation late enrollment open houses etc.
  19. Adheres to all policies and procedures as set forth by the College with special attention on compliance.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
  • 5 years previous experience in management preferred (previous admissions experience required).
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and build a team-based environment.
  • Proven ability to train and coach on consultative enrolling techniques at a group and individual level.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce reports and track metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and manage multiple projects at once
  • Previous customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Proficient in WORD EXCEL POWERPOINT and OUTLOOK
  • Articulate oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision and be a team player
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to prioritize projects and needs
