Job Description

Reporting to the Vertical Market Manager we are looking for a Key Account  Manager :

  1. Produce effective plans for future sales development and to recommend and implement where appropriate business strategies for Singapore in terms of quality availability price and competition. 

  2. Manage the marketing of products in Singapore in the most cost-effective manner consistent with overall Group policies. 

  3. Ensure customers requirements are adequately conveyed to the production and technical departments. 

  4. Initiate Customer Complaint Reports to ensure that complaints are promptly and efficiently dealt with. 

  5. Develop and present each year a cost revenue and profit budget plan for the marketing / sales / business in the local market. 

  6. Report each month on performance against agreed plans and to propose and implement where appropriate specific actions to remedy deficiencies against planned results. 

  7. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. 

  8. Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of waterproofing products to effectively advise and meet client needs. 

  9. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue from key accounts. 

  10. Communication: Facilitate clear communication between the client and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. 

  11. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly to maintain a positive client experience. 

  12. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and potential challenges. 

  13. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with key clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. 

  14. Customer Retention: Work to retain existing clients by providing exceptional service and understanding their evolving needs. 

  15. Forecasting: Conduct regular contract review and ensure customers requirements are within the Companys business. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan inventory to meet customer requirements.  

  16. Reporting: Provide regular reports on key account performance and contribute insights for continuous improvement. 

  17. Obtain and update as a continuous process adequate market information and trends together with competitors development and corporate directions in order to provide the Company with reliable background information on which to base marketing and product decisions. 

  18. Ensure the collection of debts is within the Company guidelines 

  19. Other ad-hoc sales duties as assigned. 


Qualifications :

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering and Certificate in Construction / Sales & MarketingHave dealt with consultants & architects in Singapore. 

  • Can make proposal on WP CAD/BIM/ cost/Sqm on Industrial/Infrastructure/Commercial iconic buildings.  

  • Ability to plan initiate and close sales. 

  • Ability to understand and resolve technical enquiries over the phone. 

  • Ability to provide consultancy service & support to the customer. 

  • Ability to help the customer form product solutions to tender & win project tenders. 

  • Ability to support the customer to trouble-shoot and facilitate on-site product application works. 

  • Good communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage effectively a busy workload involving more than one project. 

  • Ability to develop system-sales plan that can help the customer in their business. 

  • Candidates with no sales experience but technical knowledge and experience in infrastructure construction and A1 main contractor will be considered.
