Job Description
Be a key player in our ambitious global mission to revolutionize modern cell production through cutting-edge IoT and connectivity solutions. Were building a state-of-the-art platform that connects our industry-leading instrument portfolio - and we need your expertise to bring it to life. As part of a passionate agile team you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our Cell Factory Software and in designing a feature-rich multi-device cockpit that goes beyond the lab - delivering real-time insights anywhere theyre needed.
- You will translate architectural visions into robust scalable code and serve as link between our software architect and the development team.
- You will collaborate closely with fellow developers offering support and sharing expertise while helping to shape innovative solutions for integrating internal and external systems.
- You will explore emerging technologies build new features and continuously improve the functionality of our connectivity devices.
- You will deliver clean maintainable and high-performance software in C (ideally C17 or newer); you will design and maintain APIs protocols and data formats that ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
- You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams - from IT and QA to Marketing and Customer Service - in an international dynamic environment.
Qualifications :
- You have successfully finished your academic education in Computer Science Natural Science (e.g. Bioinformatics Mathematics Physics Statistics) or similar.
- You have proven professional experience in a role similar to the one described above. You have an excellent understandingof service-oriented software development and experience in developing software for connectivity integration orsynchronization.
- Furthermore you need to have exceptionally good knowledge of modern C (preferably C17 or newer) and be interested in continuing to develop in this language. Additionally strong expertise in GoLang is essential.
- Ideally you have knowledge of the following technologies: Typescript message-based systems like NATS or MQTT cloud technologies and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. However we are also open to candidates who are eager to learn these technologies.
- You have excellent problem solving and communication skills and fluent English (at least on level B2) Germanwould be a plus. Your agile mindset enables you to break down requirements and design them into manageable increments and pieces.
