Council is offering a Health & Building traineeship which is available to all ages in our Planning Regulatory & Compliance team. If you are an early school leaver long-term unemployed job seeker re-entering the workforce or re-evaluating your career then this is the position to kick start your career or change your career path.
A weekly salary will be determined by your age experience and current level of qualifications starting from Band T1 $468.00 up to T10 $1194.60 plus superannuation.
The traineeship enables the student to complement their studies while experiencing firsthand how council provides their community with a quality environmental health and building service. You will be supported with real on the job training and gain your Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying. A General Construction Induction Card (White Card) & Drivers Licence is essential.
