Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assesses levels and needs of individuals and gathers evaluative data; plans and implements instructional goals and programs on the basis of evaluation and assessment; and provides instruction to individuals with developmental and implements Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Evaluation Team Reports (ETR).Provide direction and guidance to instructional assistants through the discussion of established procedures development of daily schedules and implementation of programs goals and approved behavioral and implements daily lesson plans consistent with individuals classroom conducive to learning and free of health and safety and maintains required reports and records (i.e. assessments program objectives and progress data correspondence schedules and informational transmittals to parents).May be required to assist individuals with adaptive equipment such as positioning toileting feeding standers wheelchairs lifts TLSO braces AFOs splints etc. in accordance with the IEP and after properly being be required to assist individuals with toileting eating and hygiene skills and individual clean-ups that may include food spills incontinence vomitus and blood conferences with individuals parents or guardians and other appropriate be required to and maintains harmonious and effective relationships with other employees program participants parent/guardians and state and local community service work with individuals with behavioral disabilities who display aberrant be required to appropriately restrain individuals in accordance with an approved behavior be exposed to infectious/contagious disease as part of employment in a community setting.
