DVS is looking for anActive Directory Systems Administratorto join our team. The work location will be Fort Huachuca AZ. This position requires anactive Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.This position will support the GLOBAL CYBER CENTER (GCC) which provides cutting-edge technology in an enterprise-level environment.
Essential Job Duties:
- Effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical issues
- Document technical troubleshooting efforts in the ticketing system and Knowledge Management Systems
- Ensure server configuration compliance with DoD and Army regulations.
- Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines.
- Follow organizational processes and policies.
- Willing to work rotations/shift work (24x7)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (Interim required prior to start)
- HS 2 or AA/AS or BA/BS years of IT experience at a minimum
- Must have IAT II certification (CySA Sec CE SSCP) or equivalent prior to hire.
- Must acquire Microsoft server certification MCPor higher within 6 months of hire.
- Be a positive self-motivated and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations.
- Candidate must communicate effectively with team members and team lead.
- Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Windows Active Directory services
- Familiarity with physical (Dell HP IBM) and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V) servers
- Strong knowledge of client/server hardware and software configuration
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- Familiarity with creating and/or modifying scripts (batch PowerShell)
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
- Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk utilizing a computer mouse and keyboard.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
- Possess strong organizational skills attention to detail business correspondence proficiency and self-management capabilities.
