Job Description
Overview
Location: Northern Kentucky
Reports to: Corps Officers
Supervises: Employees Volunteers
Status: Full time Nonexempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 4:00PM
Function: Business administrator will serve in a critical/high level support role to the Corps Officers by overseeing all fundraising development long range planning advisory council overseeing operations and personnel. Will supervise indirect meetings program and events as directed.
Responsibilities
Overview:
Coordinates all aspects of the Northern Kentucky Corps with advisory council staff regional and territorial leadership and various professional consultants under the director of the Corps Officers and including:
- Program Design and development with variousagencies and community leaders
- Budgetary oversight
- Administrative and fiscal responsibilities in the absence of Corps Officers
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience
- Associates degreeor 3 years of administrativeexperience required
- Able to multi-task and meet hard deadlines
- Able to work in a team environment
- Must pass tuberculin skin test
- Must pass child abuse/neglect screening
- Must pass criminal records screening
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license and be able to drive 12 passengervan
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be able to read writer and communicate clearly in English
- Must havethe ability to work and relate well with individuals who possess varying needs.
- Must be able to handle difficult situation/confrontations in a professionalmanner
- Must have an understanding of and appreciationfor the mission of The Salvation Army.
