Your new role
As a Preschool Field Officer supporting the Wimmera and Southern Mallee regions you will work to promote inclusive education within Victorian government-funded kindergartens.
Your role focuses on empowering Early Childhood Teachers and their teams to create welcoming supportive environments where every child feels a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to flourish. By providing expert guidance and strategies you help build the capacity of educators to include children with additional needs meaningfully in all aspects of early learning.
This key role will include planning and supporting inclusive teaching practices offering relevant resources to educators and fostering strong family partnerships. Youll also play a vital role in connecting families to developmental support services and collaborating closely with other professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Ultimately this position is about ensuring that every child is not only includedbut celebratedfor who they are and how they learn best.

This role is two days per week (0.4 FTE / 30.4 hours per fortnight) with one of the workdays being Wednesdays. It is an opportunity to be part of a team that shares a passion for the work they do and understands the strength of collaboration to work on challenges and get the best outcomes.

Your skills and experience
- A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent.
- Current Victorian driver licence.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing high-quality inclusive early childhood education and care programs in 3 and 4-year-old kindergartens.
