Overview

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers and make a real difference

Responsibilities

Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community Do you want to help create a safer more supportive environment for people affected by drug use JoinChange Grow Liveas aHarm Reduction Support Volunteer

What Youll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact greeting visitors with warmth and respect.
  • Support our team in delivering harm reduction interventions including:
    • Needle and Syringe Provision
    • Naloxone training and distribution
    • Dry Blood Spot Testing
  • Provide non-judgmental advice on safer injecting overdose prevention and emergency response.
  • Engage with service users to promote HIV and Hepatitis testing safer sex practices and treatment options.
  • Work in the community to offer support information and safe disposal of injecting equipment.
  • Help maintain stock and ensure accurate documentation using our case management system.

Please note this role is suited to someone who can offer 2 or more days volunteering.
