Job Description
The candidate should be able to remediate the security findings on the applications middleware databases and operating systems. The incumbent should have a good hands experience on Linux and Windows Core Operating Systems as well as knowledge of Shell and Powershell scripting.
Essential Functions:
- Application Server administration hands on experience. Must be good in at least one of the application server Apache Tomcat Oracle Weblogic IBM Websphere
- HTTP Server administration experience. Must be good in at least one of the technology Apache HTTP Oracle HTTP Nginx
- Hands-on experience in any one of the database like Oracle MS SQL PostgreSQL.
- Basic understanding of Data Replication Clustering High Availability etc.
- Basic understanding of network elements like Firewall Load Balancer Global Traffic Manager DNS etc.
- Prefer candidates who has the experience in automating frequent mundane tasks.
- Candidates with knowledge in Python WLST scripting or Ansible will be a plus.
- Experience in working with Single Sign on Certificates Ciphers distributions of JDK or JRE in market.
- Experience in developing the CICD pipelines in Jenkins AzureDevOps or GitHub.
- Experience working with monitoring tool like Splunk Promotheus and Grafana
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science information management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Good problem solving skills with focus on troubleshooting issues in complex production environments.
- Willing to learn new technologies and software thinking out of the box questioning the norm and innovative.
- Verbal and written communication skills problem solving skills customer service and interpersonal skills required
- Experience collaborating with small to medium sized teams working in an onsite and offshore model.
