The Cathedral School invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and registered teachers for inclusion in our pool of Casual Relief Teachers for primary year levels.
Position Overview:
Casual Relief Teachers play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Youll deliver engaging lessons foster a positive classroom environment and support students academic and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across a range of primary year levels.
- Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Uphold school policies and procedures.
- Contribute positively to the school community.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Recognised teaching qualification suitable for primary education.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable Attributes:
- Recent classroom teaching experience.
- Familiarity with contemporary teaching practices and digital learning tools.
