Job Description
We are searching for a hands-on problem solver to work across two centrally located Sydney CBD hotels. Reporting to the General Managers of Hotel Morris Sydney & The Sebel Sydney Martin Place this role is key in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the Hotels. Duties include preventative predictive and reactive works whilst building relationships with fellow Heartists & external contractors.
What Will You Be Doing
- Assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the Hotels
- Maintaining the building plant equipment fixtures and fittings on the Hotels
- Ensuring the Hotels remain a functionable pleasant and safe environment for all guests visitors & Heartists
- Conducting maintenance requirements and follow ups as scheduled & logged by the Hotels systems
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained used and stored correctly
Qualifications :
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels fixed plant or equipment systems.
- Knowledge of preventive predictive and reactive maintenance strategies.
- Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and general repairs
- An individual who enjoys working in dynamic environments
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable.
- Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts including weekend work
