Our client focused on National Security is looking for a Storage Administrator with Positive Vetting level clearance (TSPV) for a 12-month contract (with extension options) to operate from their Canberra (ACT) location.
The successful candidate will work as a Storage Administrator who will produce designs design patterns configurations and documentation in accordance with industry standards for storage and backup systems to meet organisational requirements. They will deploy SAN infrastructure storage arrays and backup deployments with appropriate configuration and perform regular maintenance monitoring and administration functions for the respective systems.
Key duties:
- Produce designs design patterns configurations and documentation in accordance with industry standards for storage and backup system.
- Perform deployments configuration maintenance monitoring and administration functions for storage arrays associated SAN and enterprise backup systems.
- Implement SAN infrastructure/architecture (FC HBAs fabrics SANs etc.) and Cisco MDS SAN switches.
- Deploy configure and manage enterprise storage arrays.
The Successful Candidate
Our ideal candidates will bring the following attributes:
- Experience implementing and administrating Hitachi Vantara and Pure Storage storage systems Commvault backup systems and Cisco MDS SAN switching.
- A Strong understandiong of storage technologies SAN and NAS and protocols Such as iSCSI FC and FCoE
