JOB TITLE:

Gift Agreement Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:

The Gift Agreement Coordinator is responsible for preparing documents used for closing new gifts and commitments such as student scholarships department/college excellence funds and faculty support funds. The Gift Agreement Coordinator works directly with the Gift Administration Department and the Development Department to create new gift agreements and other related documentation. In this capacity the Coordinator will implement best practices for gift documentation provide training to colleagues and staff draft review and proofread agreements and track agreements through the signingprocess.

Moreover this position will communicate and coordinate with University of Wyoming staff to request and establish new gift funds. This position ensures accuracy and clarity of agreements and accounts and works with the Gift Administration and Financial Services teams to administer the funds correctly. The Gift Agreement Coordinator will ensure all processes and documentation are consistent with University of Wyoming and University of Wyoming Foundation policies and practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the gift agreement process which includes receiving draft gift agreements providing critical review engaging with impacted parties to make/validate changes highlight issues for senior management and bring agreements to closure by working with all parties to obtain finalsignatures.
  • Assist development officers with creation review and revision of new gift agreements and related documentation by drafting proofreading tracking scanning preparing for signature distribution and other tasks required to finalize agreements.
  • Oversee distribution of all finalized gift agreements to Gift Processing Gift Administration Financial Services and all relevant parties at the University ofWyoming.
  • Manage organize audit refine and digitize existing gift agreement documentation andfiles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the United States. Sponsorship for H-1B work authorization or work visa is not available for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of office or professional experience
  • Complete application packet

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Database knowledge Strong writing skills
  • Proofreading skills ability to synthesize information correctly and concisely in written form
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications
  • Familiarity with legal documents
  • Knowledge of financial documents and reports
  • Experience with higher education administration or non-profit administration
