Boeing Canada Operations LtdBoeing Canada Winnipeg is excited to invite applications for the permanent role of Shipside Operations Specialist (Production Support). Reporting to the Line Side Control Center Manager (LSCC) at our Winnipeg Manitoba office you will become an integral part of the LSCC team.
In this position you will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth operations and minimizing disruptions to our production system. You will leverage the Root Cause Corrective Action process to analyze and enhance the health of our production environment. Your primary focus will be to support our production builds by actively engaging with the Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) system.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg location on day shift.
As a valued member you will work closely with our customers and support functions to swiftly address production challenges identified by your teammates on the shop floor. Youll play a crucial role in our daily operations ensuring we maintain a strong pulse on the health of our business. Your proactive approach will help us tackle requests for assistance as they arise making a real impact every day.

Position Responsibilities:
Review validate monitor investigate and update status on all SAT items with the latest pertinent information in collaboration with support organizations.
Analyze trends in SAT to find root causes and prevent re-occurrence using resolution action plans and systematic problem-solving.
Elevate SAT constraints to LSCC management and/or Manufacturing.
Willingness to function in a team and support teammates statement of work as needed.
Ability to remain focused observant adaptive empathetic and responsive to customers.
Serve as liaison between Production Teams and Support Organizations.
Know and communicate the health of the build areas supported.
Ensure 360 communication.
Have a thorough understanding of the systematic problem solving process.
Understand the BPS principles and standards to be able to support issue resolution.
Follow and communicate the business practices of the LSCC.
Understand review and post/communicate performance to LSCC KPIs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Manufacturing and Functional Support Teams.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing
Experience with Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
2 year of experience with the Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) system
Experience working with Line Side Control Center (LSCC)
Experience with Microsoft Access
Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving
Experience supporting cross-functional teams
Strong Communication skills

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
