Job Description

Your new role
As an Administration Support/ Emergency Relief Worker youll be the first point of contact for people reaching out for supportwhether thats over the phone via email or in person at Reception. Youll help direct enquiries manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and make sure people get the information or assistance they need.
Youll also be there to support individuals and families going through tough times helping them access emergency relief and meet their immediate basic needs in times of financial crisis.
In this role you will be required to complete phone assessments with consumers to understand their current situation and how we can best support their needs.
In this role it is essential that you are available to work additional hours from Monday to Friday when required.

Your skills and experience
- Certificate III in Business Administration or Community Services or relevant experience in customer service or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and reception ideally in a service related industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity to discern and maintain strict confidentiality and respecting the needs of consumers and visitors
- Proficient with computers and comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office applications in particular Word Excel and Outlook
