Job Description
As a Remote Sourcing & Procurement IT Manager you will lead the strategy implementation and optimization of technology solutions that support global sourcing procurement and supplier management operations. You will serve as a key liaison between procurement stakeholders IT teams and third-party vendors to drive automation improve spend visibility and ensure the effective use of procurement systems.
This role combines deep knowledge of procurement processes with strong IT systems expertise particularly in e-procurement supplier portals contract lifecycle management and ERP/P2P platforms. The ideal candidate is analytical detail-oriented and able to manage complex digital transformation initiatives across procurement environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation maintenance and optimization of sourcing and procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba Coupa Oracle Cloud Procurement Jaggaer Ivalua)
Collaborate with procurement finance IT and supply chain teams to gather requirements define system functionality and support digital workflows
Lead procurement technology projects including integrations with ERP systems (SAP Oracle Workday) data migration testing and user training
Analyze and improve source-to-pay (S2P) and procure-to-pay (P2P) processes identifying automation opportunities and performance gaps
Manage relationships with third-party software vendors system integrators and consultants
Monitor system performance access controls and data accuracy to ensure compliance with regulatory and procurement policies
Support supplier onboarding contract management and e-invoicing through procurement platforms
Ensure alignment with corporate IT architecture cybersecurity standards and data governance policies
Provide regular reporting and KPIs to senior leadership related to procurement system performance adoption and ROI
Stay current on emerging procurement technologies and best practices in digital sourcing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
2 years of experience in IT systems management with at least 3 years focused on procurement technologies or supply chain systems
Hands-on experience implementing or supporting platforms such as SAP Ariba Coupa Oracle Procurement Cloud or similar tools
Solid understanding of end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing contract management supplier performance and P2P workflows
Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional system implementations
Proficiency in business analysis requirements documentation and stakeholder engagement
Familiarity with system integrations APIs data mapping and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a remote and matrixed team environment.
