What Youll Do:
- Guest Services: Greet guests handle check-ins and check-outs and respond to inquiries with professionalism.
- Reservation Management: Assist with booking tracking charging and entering room reservations.
- Revenue Oversight: Ensure all guest room rates and revenues are administered correctly.
- Administrative Support: Maintain incoming emails track hotel leads guest inquiries and casino promotions.
- Communication: Speak clearly and professionally; answer phones using proper etiquette.
- Hotel Knowledge: Be familiar with hotel amenities promotions restaurants and policies to assist guests.
- Cash Handling: Manage assigned safety deposit box perform daily cash deposits and comply with variance policy.
- Daily Operations: Complete the Daily Checklist shift reports and ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
- Key Handling: Follow all key handling policies and procedures.
- Team Support: Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
What Were Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- G6: High School Diploma or GED required; 12 years experience preferred.
- G7: Two-year college certificate in Business Administration/Management; 23 years supervisory experience preferred.
- G8/S1-3: AA in Hospitality; 3 years supervisory experience required.
- Preferred: Customer Service Certification Emergency First Aid Training Online Travel Agent experience Hotel Supervisor Essentials and bilingual in Shoshone-Bannock or Spanish.
- Special Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills self-motivated dependable and able to work independently.
- Certificates License and Registrations:
- Must submit supporting documents of education and training.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Drivers License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage.
Physical Demands:
- Communication: Ability to talk and hear regularly.
- Mobility: Ability to stand for long periods (610 hours) walk sit use hands and fingers and reach with arms.
- Lifting: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Vision: Close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- Public Environment: Work in a public setting with moderate to loud noise levels especially on the casino floor.
- Equipment Use: Use standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers and fax machines.
