Job Description
KB Seafood Co is Australias largest seafood company and one of the most awarded & successful food service operators. We provide over 30000 tonnes of seafood annually to leading foodservice operators and major supermarkets.
About the Role:
The role will be primarily responsible for assisting with the collection of the live Lobster catch from the Fremantle wharf delivering the catch to our Canning Vale premises and helping the fisherman with bait needs and stacking pots.
- Ongoing role based in Canning Vale WA.
- $42.25 per hour superannuation
- Required to be available Monday to Sunday as required
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current Open HR licence
- Forklift License (highly regarded)
- Have demonstrated experience in operating refrigerated trucks.
- A strong work ethic with good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Good level of physical fitness
- Availability for immediate start
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Manual loading and unloading of freight.
- Carrying out deliveries within strict time frames
- Liaising with fishermen and the Production manager daily
- Adhering to strict fatigue and safety procedures
- Taking pride and maintaining the company vehicle as their own
Previous experience working in FMCG environment will be highly regarded.
