Position Summary:

The president is the principal executive officer of the university a member of the faculty and carries out the policies and programs established by the Board of Regents. The president is responsible for the administration of the university and for compliance of university matters with applicable regents laws and policies and state and federal constitutions laws and regulations.

The Administrative Hearings Officer (AHO) is responsible for University of Colorado system-wide hearings and final written determinations following formal investigations for allegations of sexual misconduct including sexual assault dating and domestic violence and stalking. The AHO is the decision-maker for sexual misconduct adjudications for all campuses in compliance with the universitys Sexual Misconduct Intimate Partner Violence and Stalking Policy (APS 5014). In collaboration with the Administrative Hearing Coordinator and Vice President of Compliance and Equity/System Title IX Coordinator (VP) the AHO presides over pre-hearing conferences and live hearings makes evidentiary findings and authors written determinations. Each of the four campuses remains responsible for the investigations any applicable disciplinary decisions for either students or employees and convening appeal boards.

The AHO reports to the VP in the System Office of Ethics Risk and Compliance (OERC) and is exempt from the State of Colorado Classified system.

Salary: The anticipated hiring range has been established at $185000 - $205000

CU System Administration takes into consideration a combination of the selected candidates education training and experience as it relates to the position as well as the positions scope and complexity internal pay equity and external market value when determining a salary level for potential new employees.
