Full-Time $35 $45 per hour based on experience
A leading electrical contractor is currently seeking a Traveling Lead Foreman to manage and execute heavy commercial electrical projects across various industrial sites. While the job environments are industrial the scopes of work are generally straightforward yet time-sensitive. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives under pressure collaborates well with a team and takes initiative to drive results and solve problems on the job.
Lead a crew of at least 4 team members (typically 2 licensed electricians and 2 apprentices) per job site
Manage labor project timelines and site coordination while meeting strict deadlines
Read and interpret blueprints one-line diagrams and electrical schematics
Oversee and perform a wide range of electrical installations including:
Conduit and wiring systems
Generator and UPS installations
Low- and medium-voltage systems
Maintain consistent communication with project managers and office staff
Enforce adherence to all jobsite safety protocols and project specifications
Provide professional verbal and written communication on site
Proven ability to lead teams on large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
Willing and able to work up to 60 hours per week
Must be open to extensive travel; this role requires regular travel
Capable of working independently and managing teams with minimal supervision
High degree of reliability professionalism and accountability
Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
5 years of hands-on field experience in electrical construction
Previous experience as a foreman or in a leadership role preferred
Thorough knowledge of electrical codes safety practices and standard installation techniques
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Pay Range: $35 $45 per hour (depending on experience)
