What Youll Be Doing
As an Electrical Engineer on our Water and Wastewater team you will:
- Contribute to the planning design and delivery of municipal Indigenous and private sector infrastructure projects.
- Develop practical reliable and cost-effective electrical solutions that support safe and sustainable water and wastewater systems.
- Apply your expertise at every stage of the project lifecyclefrom assessments and studies through detailed design approvals and construction support.
- Work closely with engineers technologists and project managers to integrate electrical systems into broader infrastructure designs.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders by delivering high-quality technical solutions and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of electrical design packages and technical specifications.
- Oversee coordination with utilities contractors and sub-consultants.
- Provide technical guidance during construction including reviews of shop drawings and site progress.
- Support proposal development cost estimating and permitting activities.
- Conduct facility condition assessments and recommend improvements.
- Review and validate work prepared by others to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and technologists.

- Strong knowledge of the CEC OESC and National/Ontario Building Codes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (Revit an asset).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Ontario drivers license and access to a vehicle.
