About the Role
Were looking for an experienced Accountant who can take on a strategic Operations Manager role someone who is equally confident preparing financial reports and improving operational systems. If youre a seasoned accounting professional with a knack for operations systems thinking and cross-functional support this is the perfect role for you.
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily business operations while also managing end-to-end financial processes. Think of this as a hybrid position where your foundation in accounting supports your ability to drive operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Optimise day-to-day business workflows across departments
- Identify process improvement opportunities and manage implementation
- Coordinate IT tools automation and team systems
- Support onboarding and training for internal team members
- Track and analyse business KPIs to guide strategic decisions
Executive Support
- Manage calendars communications and meeting logistics for the Executive team
- Ensure timely follow-ups and alignment across stakeholders
- Financial Oversight
- Perform full-spectrum bookkeeping (including payroll and BAS support)
- Prepare budgets cash flow forecasts and monthly financial reports
- Maintain accounting records and manage financial compliance
What Were Looking For
- Accountant with a degree in Accounting or a related field
- 5 years experience in Australian accounting
- Strong leadership organisational and problem-solving skills
- A true multi-tasker and all-rounder
- Confident managing operational systems processes and reporting
- Tech-savvy with excellent proficiency in Xero Microsoft Office and SaaS platforms
