Job Description
About the Role:
Are you an experienced Data Engineer or Data Scientist eager to take on real-world challenges Join our innovative IoT Lab where youll play a key role in building a modern data capability from the ground up. Youll work with a highly skilled team to deliver agile proof-of-value experiments and maintain production-ready systemsboth on-premises and in the cloud.
This is a brand-new role designed to enhance the teams capabilities in Machine Learning AI and Data Science working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to drive data-driven decisions and predictive insights.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and build scalable data pipelines in Azure

Build and deploy ML models statistical algorithms and real-time data solutions
-
Extract clean and transform data from hybrid data sources (open and closed)
-
Apply machine learning libraries and advanced statistical techniques
-
Create ingestion scripts using pySpark and work with Parquet/Delta formats
-
Collaborate with stakeholders and lead data workshops
-
Visualize insights using Power BI
-
Contribute to the full ML lifecycle with best development practices
Required Skills & Experience:

Strong expertise in Azure: Synapse ADX ADF Event Hubs Data Lake

Hands-on coding: Python pySpark
-
Familiarity with Parquet Delta Parquet
-
Experience with SQL/NoSQL Data Architecture & Modelling
-
Understanding of DevOps / ML-Ops pipelines
-
Proven knowledge of ML algorithms statistical models and hypothesis testing
-
Exposure to AzureML Microsoft Fabric
-
Good development practices: OOP OOD SOLID principles
-
MSc in Data Science Mathematics or related field
