Job Description

Emeco are currently recruiting for an experienced Light Vehicle Fleet Manager to join our amazing team. Located at either our Perth or Brisbane office working on Monday to Friday. This role has been offered on a fixed term basis for 9 months.

Your portfolio will be to manage our 300 light vehicles 60 material handling equipment and 60 ancillary fleet nationally with an emphasis on managing internal/external stakeholders and dealings with our current fleet management and finance provider TFM.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage fuel cards infringement notices Tyres.
  • Maintenance management and approvals
  • Monthly and annual financial reporting (including FBT)
  • Manage KM pooling and profit share on leased vehicles
  • Maximise value of owned vehicles
  • Standardise vehicle specification including management of fit out
  • Manage vehicle supply how vehicles are sourced to minimise cost and meet timelines
  • Lease extension and km allowance management assessing extension cost against R&M exposure
  • Replacement planning and execution process (including procurement and disposal)
  • Promote telematics to enable vehicle tracking
  • Business case preparation for requirements on new vehicles and improvements on existing vehicles
  • Risk assessment of equipment and build compliance e.g. modification plates and certification

Required skills / experience & attributes:

  • Proficient with managing large fleet of LV (sourcing and leasing)
  • Experience with Fleet Management Systems
  • Experience working with large fleet organisations
  • Highly developed communication and management skills
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets
  • Resilient resourceful and adaptable
  • Hardworking and tenacious
  • Effective negotiator
